As the Trails Coalition formed in 2013, projects included working collaboratively with many groups to put plans in place to enable connections to the Loop Trail, a feature of the St. Croix River Crossing Project, in the coming years.

Strong research indicates visiting interesting outdoor recreation locations encourages the exercise sorely needed by Americans to improve overall health.   Trails, with their stunning vistas and multiple use possibilities, serve as an incentive to be out and about with all the benefits that accompany those trips.

Creating outstanding trails systems allows residents to enjoy the various accompanying amenities but also invites visitors to do the same.  Tourists patronize local business providing a broader tax base for the area.

 The Trails Coalition has worked from its inception to improve trail opportunities in the St. Croix River Valley.  Its vision has a 30 year eye to the future and the group is looking for interested people to join and broaden the effort.  Its focus is at the local community level.  Read the History document below to see the details of the numerous projects the Trails Coalition has been involved in.  Then, open the Membership / Donation form to see the benefits of membership and donations.  Memberships, donations and participation at any level are welcome any time.  Become a part of this community catalyst for action!
